It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Ray Walker of Rhome, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Lewis, Sr. and Betty Jean Walker (Roston); his wife Amanda Thornton; his children, Joshua Ray Walker, Caleb Ray Walker and Lauren Nicole Walker; and his siblings, Cornell Walker, Robert Walker, Ricky Walker, Demetrius Walker, Michael Walker, Susan Robinson and Tammy Walker. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
