It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Wayne Massengale of Rhome, Texas, born in Hatch, New Mexico, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Mae and Thomas Newton Massengale; his wife Emma Jo Massengale; his stepsons, Doug and Craig Carner; and his brother Sammy Wayne (Tommy Lane Massengale).

He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Michele Massengale (Greg Wallis) and Stephanie Ann Garcia (JR Garcia); his sisters, Glenda and Katrina; his stepdaughter Laura Edwards; his grandchildren, Justin Cadenhead, Christine Ryan, Garrett Garcia, Kylee Garcia and Kendall Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Chole Padecky and Sincere Currie.
