It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Young of Rhome, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Berniece Miles, O. F. and Audie Young; his brother-in-law Frank Ortega; and his uncles, Clarence, Joe and Phillip Miles.

He is survived by: his wife Shanna Young (Barber); his children, Carson Richard Young, Morgan Adair Young and Sophie Leigh Young; his parents, Richard Young and Rebecca Young; and his sisters, Heather Lee (Randy) and Amber Ortega.
