It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Gates of Rhome, Texas, born in Albany, Texas, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubert W. Gates and Priscilla Ann Howsley Gates; and his sister Cindy Lou Gates Miller. He is survived by: his wife Stacey Gates of Tolar, Texas; and his brothers, R. W. Gates (Pam) of Tomball and Rob Gates (Christi) of Rockwall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
