He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Mazy Idell (Elliott); his wife Dorothy Lucille Idell; and his siblings, Henry Nathan, Robert Eugene, James Joe, Charlie Aaron, Willie May, Louella and Nancy Mirinda.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda McGee of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Steven McGee, Michael McGee and Julie McGee. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
