She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Savage and Emma Lee Savage; her son Craig Carner; and her brother Lynn Savage. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Wayne Massengale; her children, Laura Edwards and Doug Carner; her stepdaughters, Stephanie Garcia and Michelle Massengale; and her siblings, Lucian Savage and Christie Gentry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
