He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Palmer and Betty Sue Simpson; his sister Terri Elaine Pitts-Fletcher; and his stepson Justin Sloas. He is survived by: his wife Christine Pitts of Rhome; his children, Jamie Belcher (Kevin) of Canyon Lake and Bradley Pitts (Leandra) of Rhome; his stepson Jason Sloas (Tiffany) of Rhome; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Bailey, Braidan, Boe of Wyatt, J. T., Viktoria, Emery and Freya; his sisters, Stacey Turner (Mike), Lana Ramos (Kirby) and Debbie Themur; and his brother-in-law Danny Gray. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
