He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Ann Russell Mascorro; his sons, Samuel Allen Mascorro III, Christopher Randall Mascorro and Michael Russell Mascorro (Barbara Ann Russell); and his parents, Samuel Bazan Mascorro of Refugio and Librada Alaniz. He was also cherished by his two sons, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
