With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Elmore of Red Oak, Texas, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Thelmer Battson; her siblings, Christine, Pauline, Junior, Gene and Jim; and her daughters, Margaret, Marjorie and Misty.
She is survived by: her husband Doyle Elmore; her sons, Marlon Elmore (Deborah) and Marc Elmore (Brian); her grandsons, Jarrod, Jacob and Noah; and her sister Verla Stanford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (105 Vintage Dr, Waxahachie, TX 75154). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (320 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, TX 75154). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Red Oak Cemetery (599 S Central Blvd, Red Oak, TX 75154).
