Helen Lagoda Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lagoda of Red Oak, Texas, born in Sayreville, New Jersey, who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kuzdzal and Katherine Kuzdzal; her husband John Lagoda; and her sisters, Florence Szawaryn, Adele Szeszko and Joan Uhler.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian Szkodny (Jean), Nicholas Szkodny, Alison Karl, Steven Schwarz and Dana Pelt (Coby); her great grandchildren, Emily, Steven, Trinity, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Michael, Jared, Chase, Cooper and Emma; and her brother-in-law Gerald Uhler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the spike in Covid 19 cases, the funeral home requires that all individuals wear a mask while in the building.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to Red Oak Friends of the Library, 200 Lakeview Parkway, Red Oak, TX 75154.
