He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Janecka and Marie Janecka (Beran); his wife Alice Cepak; his siblings, Karel K. Janecka and Mildred Hanak; and his children-in-law, Richard Lowe and Kimberly Janecka.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Janecka (Tracy) of Georgetown, Carl Janecka of Burleson and Angela Lowe of Burleson; his grandchildren, Joseph Janecka, Nicklaus Janecka, Cheryl Lowe and Stephanie Ross (Dave); his great grandchildren, Grayson and Lily Ross; and his brother Jerry Janecka (Marie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to History of West Museum or McLennan/Hill Czech Heritage Society.
