He was predeceased by: his father John Bristley Abshier; his parents-in-law, Darrell and Patricia Hicks; and his brother-in-law Buddy Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Tricia "Trish" Hicks Abshier; his daughter Madison Abshier-Tharp (Colby); his stepchildren, Kelcie Parker (Garrison) and Jayme Ancelet; his mother Winnie Parks Abshier; and his siblings, Johnna LeDoux (Ernest) and Cody Abshier (Kristi). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
