He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis LaChapelle III and Mae Gloria Gradney LaChapelle; his wife Mary Louise Melancon LaChapelle; and his siblings, Paul LaChapelle, Mayo LaChapelle, Jesse LaChapelle and Mary Magdalene.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl LaChapelle of Spring, Yvette Pavliska (Donnie) of Raywood, Regina Pavliska (Ronnie) of Liberty and Michelle LaChapelle of Houston; and his grandchildren, Alysia LaChapelle Cunningham, Elizabeth Treadway, Frank Pavliska, Darryl LaChapelle, Jr. and Enjoli LaChapelle. He is also survived by six Great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
