She is survived by: her parent Birma Dewberry Broom; her husband George Fitzgearld; her son James V. "Jimmy" Williams; and her siblings, Franklin Broome, Sr. (Bobbie), Julia Mathis (Hugh Don) of Rome, Alma Dowdy of Rome and Louise Trapp of Rome.
