He was predeceased by: his parents, Hildegarde Swanberg and Emil Theodore Swanberg; his siblings, Orion Swanberg (Lil), Gladys King (Bill), Carol Critchfield (Charles), Ellen Pohlmeyer (Melvin), Luella Busse and Norman Swanberg (Sheri); his sister-in-law Carolyn Swanberg; and his great grandchild Mason Craft.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Marie Schneider; his brother Virgil Swanberg; his brother-in-law Henry "Buck" Busse; his children, Mark Swanberg (Paula) and Mitzi Swanberg-Anzaldua; his grandchildren, Andrew Swanberg, Angela Kilbourn (Cody), Alexandra Denson (Charles) and Adrianne Kraft (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Austin Swanberg, Harris Kilbourn and Teak Kilbourn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their children, and their grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (8233 Park Ave, Lyford, TX 78569).
