He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ramon Cruz and Elena Cruz (Ramirez); his sibling Rumaldo Cruz; his niece Lydia Valdez; his wife Guadalupe Cruz; his children, Lupita Flores, Esmeralda Cruz, Betty Valdez, Reynaldo Cruz, Reymundo Cruz, Jr., Rogelio Cruz and Rudy Cruz; and his brother Raul Cruz. He was also cherished by 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
