He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Salazar and Augustina Salazar (Cortez); his wife Adela Guzman; his son Hipolito Salazar, Jr. (Cindy); his sisters, Maria Zuniga (Magee), Trinidad Garcia and Adela Luna; and his grandchildren, Ashlee, Mia and Zackary. He was also cherished by 7 stepchildren.
