She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vidal Cedillo and Silvestra Cedillo (Saldana); her husband Cecilio Lara; and her children, Reynaldo Lara, Cecilio Lara Jr., Felipe Lara, Robert Lara, Janie Sullenger and Elizabeth D'Amelio.
