It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Damacio Olvera Sr. of Raymondville, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pedro Olvera and Christina Olvera (Villareal); his brother Martin; his nieces and nephews, Santos Olvera, Roberto Olvera, Juan Augustin Olvera, Sr. and Juan Moreno Olvera; and his daughters, Guadalupe Escamilla and Rosalinda Franco. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
