He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtney Kelso and Helen Kelso; his son Scott Kelso; and his sisters, Delores Bartlett and Floy LaKemper.

He is survived by: his son Brian Kelso (Chelsey) of Kansas City, KS; his daughter-in-law Susie Kelso of Chillicothe, MO; his brother Corky Kelso of Pleasant Hill, MO; his grandchildren, Lauren Allen of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Kelso of Kearney, MO, Kinsley Kelso of Kansas City, KS and Brogan Kelso of Kansas City, KS; and his great grandchild Raelynn Allen of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by his boys and grandkids.
