With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Brown Cheney in Raymondville, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Beverly Brown may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly Brown touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Albert Brown and Betty Menon Brown; and her brother Newton A Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Parris E. Cheney; her sister Cynthia Lynn Brown Brennan; her niece Lola Gibbs; and her adoptive daughter Sandy Clendening.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zoeller Funeral Home (615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1390 Hanz Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park (2951 TX-46, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
