She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Albert Brown and Betty Morton Brown; and her brother Newton M. Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Parris E. Cheney; her sister Cynthia Lynn Brown Brennan; her niece Lola Gibbs; and her adoptive daughter Sandy Clendening.
