He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwen Hocott and Raymond Hocott; his wife Patsy Hocott; his brother Jerry Hocott; his granddaughter McKenzie Lee Hocott; and his brothers-in-law, Lester Shed, Billy Talmadge Mitchell, Curtis Lengefeld and Bill Foster.
He is survived by: his son Dane; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Hocott of Covington; his granddaughters, Alexandra Hocott, Victoria Hocott of College Station and Olivia Hocott of Lubbock; his sisters, Sue Ella Foster of Austin and Sandra Lengefeld of Alpharetta, Georgia.; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Shed of San Antonio, Dorothy Hocott of Webster and Jacqueline Mitchell of Somerset; his close friend Lynda Soles; and also Robin Shed of Raymondville.
