He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Puga and Amalia Puga (Riojas); his children, Alfredo Puga and Nelda P. Rivera; his sister Sofia Puga; his wife Beatrice Y. Puga; his children, Rene Puga (Maria), Gilbert Puga (Liz), Juan Ynes Puga (Susan), Melba Puga, Imelda Villegas (Sal), Nilda Salazar (Ray) and Maricela Hernandez (Rey); and his siblings, Carlos Riojas Puga (Julian Riojas Puga) and Juanita Puga Ortega. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; 32 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
