She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Davis and Oscar Davis; her husband James T. McDowell; her siblings, Kenneth, Dwain Davis, Betty Lakey, Shirley Reece, Sandra Cheowa Mokine and Brenda Hale; and her grandson Robert Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Trudi McDowell of Ivanhoe, TX, Judy Smith of Bonham, TX, Cindy Jester of Whitesboro, TX, Paul McDowell (Lois) of Ravenna, TX and Lee McDowell (Carla) of Helen Springs, AR. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
