It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Matthews of Ravenna, Texas, born in Bonham, Texas, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Moore and Dorothy Thornton Moore; her sisters, Sarah Martin and Gaynell Griffin; her grandson Clay Matthews; and her stepgrandson Chad Hunt.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Jack Matthews of Ravenna, TX; her children, Kirk Matthews (Wanda) of Paris, TX and Suzie Matthews Dickey (Keith) of Ravenna, TX; her brother Kenneth Moore (Mary) of Bonham, TX; her grandsons, Tony Matthews (Lynsie), Christian Matthews, Dillon Dickey, Drew Dickey and Dawson Dickey; her great grandchild Cooper Matthews; and her stepgrandson Quentin Hunt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
