She was predeceased by: her mother Jennie Elizabeth Luce Steele; her husband Joe Garner Loftin; and her siblings, Lee Carl Steele (Junior), Gordon Steele and Helen Elizabeth Steele Hurst.
She is survived by: her father Lee Carl; her children, Paula Loftin Hill of Rankin, Sheryl Loftin of Andrews, Richard Loftin (Cynthia) of Midkiff and Judy Loftin Williams (Larry) of Rankin; and her grandchildren, Bryan Loftin Hill of Austin, Amy Hill Joseph (Chris) of Austin, Joseph Scudder (Meredith) of Plano, Jay Scudder of Colorado, Heath Loftin (Amy) of Christoval, Richele Boyd (Michael) of San Angelo, Christine Owen (David) of Midkiff, Meagan Dean (Garrett) of Midkiff, Michael Rhodes (Katie) of Rankin, Jason Rhodes (Julie) of Colorado, Lauren Williams of Rankin and Sarah Patterson (Jerod) of Alabama. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 7 nieces.
