He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Cumi and Henry Herbert Phillips; and his spouse Gyndolen Beauchamp. He is survived by: his children, Renee (Dane Lee) of Rankin and Byron Phillips of Rankin; his granddaughters, Brittnee (Jesse Sanchez) of Rankin and Logan (Dusty Kilgore) of McCamey Texas; his niece Debbie (Bruce Krebbs) of Barttlesville Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Jo Beth Wright; and his great grandchildren, Kyler Sanchez, Hudson Sanchez, Easton Kilgore and Madden Kilgore.
In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund will be set up at the The First State Bank of Rankin for students pursuing a career in welding and other blue collar trades.
