It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Robert Cowell of Rankin, Texas, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Cowell and Lydia Cowell of Gladstone, Michigan.; and his sister Marianne Cowell Poe. He is survived by: his wife Ute Block Cowell; his children, Cora Cowell Goodwin, Tina Cowell and Dean Cowell; his grandchild Lauren Goodwin; and his brothers, Richard Cowell and Dennis Cowell. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
