He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Avery and May Avery; and his siblings, Nettie Mae, Gertrude Alice, Milt, Noel, Leonard and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Lorenz; his son Stephan (Jeanne); his grandsons, Ryan and Jonathan; his son Mark (Terri); his grandchildren, Angela, Monica and David; his daughter Jean (Rick); his grandchildren, Brian, Cari and Ashley; his son Noel (Teresa); his grandchildren, Sam and Camden; his great grandchild Milt (Julia); his grandsons, Christopher Avery and Chad Hayden; and also, Taylor and Kennedy.
