He is survived by: his wife Retha Chapman of Quitman; his children, Twilla Ellaine Reidinger (Bernard) of Killeen and William Shawn Chapman (Amy) of Salado; his siblings, Jenny Yager of Michigan, Bob Chapman (Janice) of Florida, Dick Chapman (Chris) of Michigan and Gerald McDill (Carol) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Ashley Dorman (Shawn), Sabrina Oquain (Jarrett), Cassandra Chapman, Haley Worsdale, Tyler Klikna, Gavin Reidinger, Kameron Marshall and Micah Marshall (Joy); and his great grandchildren, Landon Dorman, Kameron Dorman, Jayce Acevedo, Gianna Dorman and Amelia Acevedo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
