With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ulna Cathey McWhorter of Quitman, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Schley Cathey and Lillian Viola Brittain Cathey; and her husband Billy Bob "Bill" McWhorter. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Benjamin McWhorter (Kristi) and William Isaac McWhorter (Valerie); and her grandchildren, Michael Kenneth McWhorter, Lillian Esther McWhorter, Matilda Rose McWhorter, Michael McWhorter, Lillian McWhorter, Matilda McWhorter and William Finnegan "Finn" McWhorter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Ulna.
