He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Dianne Shipp (Davis); his grandparents, Marie Shipp, Thomas Shipp, Elmer and Bernice Davis; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Harper.
He is survived by: his father James Luckett Shipp of Golden, Texas; his wife Bonita Shipp of Bogata, Texas; his children, Hunter Carver (Kaitlyn) of Mississippi and Ashley Lawson (Christopher) of Paris, Texas; his grandchildren, Grayson, Hudson, Emberlyn and Presleigh; his great grandchild Kaden Christopher Thomas Lawson; and his sister Dianna Shipp of Texarkana. He is also survived by one niece, one nephew, great-nephews; cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests the donations be made in Thomas's name to the American Cancer Society.
