She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Delmar Gilbert and Leona Parchman; her son Shane Jackson; and her siblings, Wallace Gilbert, Danny Gilbert and Faye Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lana (Mark Johnson) and Sherri (Jonathan Nisbett); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Nisbett (Vanessa), Beth Mullins, Joey Nisbett (Tisha), Charles Burgess (Laura), Chelly Llamas (Jonathan), Heather Fischer, Brandi Brannon (Chris), Tyler Nisbett (Gena), Nikki Williams (Justin), Jacquelyn Hatley and Donna Nisbett. She is also survived by 23 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
