It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Kay Blalock of Quitman, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Bobo and Sara Bobo; and her daughter Celeste. She is survived by: her husband Byron Blalock; her brothers, Keith and Jerry Bobo; her sister-in-law Beverly; her children, Sara Hooten (Brandon) of Anna, Laura Krueger (Jordan) of Royce City and Dana Stribling (Nao) of Japan; and her grandchildren, Adeline Hooten, Jemma, Bennett Krueger, Amelie, Nico and Skye Stribling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations (1102 E Goode St, Quitman, TX 75783). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church (2185 FM2225, Quitman, TX 75783). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Myrtle Springs Cemetery (2185 FM2225, Quitman, TX 75783).
