He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Blane and Verlon Gibson (Kennemer); and his wife Vicki Gibson. He is survived by: his sons, Brad (Cara Gibson) and Blane Gibson of Windsor, Colorado; his grandchildren, Conner, Braxten Gibson of Golden and Landry Gibson of Windsor, Colorado; his siblings, Mary Woodall of Duncanville and Jerry H. (Lynda Gibson) of Quitman; his cousins, Larry Gibson of Golden, Susan Gibson Overstreet of Sunnyvale, Carroll Kennemer of Palestine, Stan and Pam Smith of Quitman; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Raney, Nicki Taylor, Bill Cox of Camden, Arkansas and Ron Raney of Camden, Arkansas; his son John Chatham of Pittsburg; and also, Tony, Kathy Gilbreath of Quitman, Mike Cox, Greg Cox, Jeremy Taylor, Marty Billingsley, Rodney Raney, Steven Woodall, Michael Woodall, Jerry L. Gibson, Zach Gibson, Clay Smith and Chuck Black.
He was involved with the Quitman Rotary and served as treasurer for the Quitman Youth Foundation.
