He is survived by: his wife Annette; his sister Lucy Waddell (Walter Waddell) of Columbia; his daughter Stacie Whitaker (Lynn Whitaker) of Gladewater; his grandchildren, Coleton Brooke Whitaker of Washington, D. C. and Autumn Softley (Chris Softley); and his great grandchildren, Tatum, Tyler and Trey Softley of Lubbock, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
