He is survived by: his wife Diane Canaday Blackwell of Quitman; his son Christopher Robert Blackwell of Dallas; his sister Martha Blackwell Huff (Don Huff); and his sister-in-law Norma Beech of Quitman. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
