She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Horn and Phyllis Van Horn; her uncle Bill Van Horn; her son Gregory Henderson; and her mother-in-law Brenda Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband Jason Hicks of Quitman; her sons, Tristen DeVilbiss-Henderson (Ashley DeVilbiss-Henderson) of Tyler and Josh Benard (Julia Stewart); her siblings, Jeanette Nolen (Boo) of Quitman, Ashley Van Horn (Bodie Scott) of Quitman and Kevin Van Horn (Gaby) of Tyler; her grandchildren, Bruce Wayne DeVilbiss-Henderson and Ivy DeVilbiss-Henderson; and her father-in-law Norman Hicks (Janene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
