It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marilyn Spence of Quitman, Texas, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 83, on March 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wayne and Mary Ellen Bryant (Mortimer); her brothers, Melvin Bryant and Ernest Bryant; her grandsons, Joshua McPherson and Quintin Turley; her nieces, Lyette Kensa Bryant and Connie Sue Jackson; and her nephew Lonnie Dean Bryant.

She is survived by: her children, Crystal McPherson of Muskogee, Daryl McPherson (Elaine) of Irving and Douglas McPherson of Windsboro, Texas; and her siblings, Wanda Daubenberger (Ivan) of Springdale, Larry Bryant (Connie) of Farmers Branch, Lonnie Bryant of Keokuk, Janice Hayden (William) of Kahoka and Kenny Bryant (Nita) of Pottsboro, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
