He was predeceased by: his father Charles Columbus Ferrell; his wife Nancy Ann Lovejoy; and his grandson Seth Lovejoy Ferrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Ferrell-Holton (David) of Tunbridge Wells, UK and Penelope Ferrell (Penny) of Winnsboro, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County, 3531 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75701, in honor of Kermit's memory.
