He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Knighton Batchelor and Margaret Batchelor (Conner); his wife Theresa Batchelor of Quitman; his children, Alicia Anne Batchelor of Frisco and Christopher Alan Batchelor (Kristin) of Wylie; his brother James Knighton Batchelor of Porter; his grandchildren, Declan Batchelor and Kahlan Batchelor; his parents-in-law, Marty and Dean Da Silva of Quitman; and his siblings-in-law, Claire Mansfield (James) of Richmond, VA, Tom Wilker (Kim) of Katy, Greg Wilker (Jeani) of Ocala, FL and Willow. He was also cherished by many nieces, extended family members, and friends.
