He is survived by: his wife Melinda Lawson; his parents, Billy Lawson and Betty Lawson of Sulphur Springs; his children, Bruce Slaton of Murfreesboro, AR, Jim Slaton of Murfreesboro, AR, Chad Slaton of Columbus, OH, Erick McFarland of Quitman and Brittney Ratliff of Quitman; his grandchildren, Dylan, Gunner, Jaxon and Rylee; and his siblings, Danny Lawson of Sulphur Springs, Wayne Lawson of Sulphur Springs, Billy Gene Lawson of Sulphur Springs, John Swann of Sulphur Springs and Jennifer Pryor of Sulphur Springs.
