It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Reed Wansley of Quitman, Texas, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Truman "JT" and Amie Withrow Wansley; and his brothers, Donald and Billy Frank "Bill" Wansley. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Wansley; his children, Kevin Wansley (Ashley) of Yantis, Ricky Wansley (Margaret) of Yantis and Shanna Purkey (Shannon) of Katy; and his siblings, Dave Wansley (Carol) and Katie Turnage of Ennis. He is also survived by many grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jerry Wansley to the Arbor Foundation.
