He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee and Bessie Lee Bowen; and his siblings, Billie, June, Bonnie, Susie and Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Golda Darlene Carson; his sons, Tony (Vicki) and Tracy (Katherine); and his grandchildren, Leah, Nicholas, Adam and Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests, for those that desire, Memorials be directed to Faith Baptist Church's building fund.
