It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Joan Farmer of Quitman, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Clay Otto Williams; her husband George L. Farmer Jr.; and her son George Lawler Farmer III. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Leath (Rex), Steven Farmer (Wendy), Joannie Wainscott (Cain) and Fred Farmer (Jennifer); and her sister Connie "Tiny" Snyder. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
