We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2022, at the age of 91, Gene Challus Cameron of Quitman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milburn Cameron and Martha Wright Cameron; his wife Pat Cameron; his siblings, Morene Caylor, Paula Rushing and Neil Cameron; his children, Ann Wilbanks (Bobby) of Hawkins, Vickie Brown (Louie) of Lindale and Doug Cameron (Georgia) of Quitman; his sisters, Louise Ramey, Alice Caylor, Gwendolyn Orsborn and Carolyn Saxon; his sister-in-law Patricia Cameron; his grandchildren, Shawn Wilbanks, Shanna Thornton, Molly Brown, Nathan Brown, Maggie Brown and Danielle Cameron; and his great grandchild Emma Shelton. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
