It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garry Lynn Clanton of Quitman, Texas, born in Mineola, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. "Bill" Clanton and Imogene Clanton; his brothers, Larry and Tony Clanton; and his son Clay Clanton.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Clanton; his son Cory Clanton of Quitman; his grandchildren, Shelbie Clanton of Austin and Madilynn; and his brother Tim (Gail Clanton) of Liberty City.
