She was predeceased by: her parents, Leston Scott and Myrtle Scott; her husband John Robert "Red" Koen; her sons, Alfred Lee Elliott and Steve Elliott; her siblings, Leston Scott Jr. and Tommie Nell Caddel; and her close friend Margaret James.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Koen (Sue) of Quitman, David Koen of Dallas, Elaine Chatterly (Edward) of Buffalo and Mike Elliott of Avenger, Texas; and her brother Billy Scott (Mary) of Garland. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
