He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Corine Dorsett; his children, Tamye Williams and Gary Schisler; and his parents, Fred Dorsett and Vivian Dorsett.
He is survived by: his children, Kaye Thrash, Deanna Clardy (Michael), Jimmy Schisler (Miriam) and Tammy Murphy (Tony); his sisters, Phyllis Finecy, Charlotte Barnhart and Christina Gelo; and his grandchildren, Clay Thrash, Amanda Cassidy, Steven Gentry, Jessica Williams, Travis Hardin, Jamie Hardin, Olivia Lockhart, Tory Murphy, Teal Murphy and Thorn Murphy. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
