He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane Davis of Lake Cherokee; his mother Ilamae Hendrix of Longview; his sons, Shane Hooten (Patricia) of Kilgore and Dustin Davis of Kilgore; his siblings, Sheila Harp of Perkins, OK and Lavoyd Davis (Linnie) of Cyril, OK; his grandchildren, Blake of Kilgore and Sarah Hooten of Kilgore; and his father Dwain Davis. He was also cherished by one nieces and two great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lakeview Baptist Church, 10522 FM 2011, Longview, Texas 75603.
